Chocolate Biscotti

Light and delicious dessert good for any time. My personal favorite biscotti, especially with coffee. AllRecipes.com

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Mix all ingredients but almonds in a bowl (the dough will be thick)
  3. Stir in almonds
  4. Lay half the dough in two 4 by 12-inch loaf on two cookie sheets
  5. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes
  6. Remove loaves from oven for about 20 minutes
  7. Reduce oven temperature to 325°
  8. Cut loaves into ½-inch slices and lay slices on side on cookie sheets
  9. Bake slices for 15 minutes at 325°
  10. Flip the slices and bake for 15 more minutes (they will be crisp)
  11. Cool the slices and serve room temperature
