Biscuits

Tasty, light, and easy, these biscuits are good for snacking or serving with berries or butter.

  1. Preheat oven to 450°
  2. Sift dry ingredients together in a bowl
  3. Cut in cold butter and mix until crumbly
  4. Mix in beaten egg and cream
  5. Spread dough in pan to desired size (I use 2 by 3-inch lumps)
  6. Cook at 450° for 15-18 minutes until lightly browned
  7. Cool for a few minutes
  8. Serve warm, split if desired
