We had a fun-filled trip to Sonnenberg Gardens in Canandaigua, NY on Fathers Day. We saw some beautiful gardens, the mansion, and a very cool car show on the expansive estate. There are new pictures up in the Trips section.
Later on, we got to see the opening performance of Les Miserables at the Merry Go Round Playhouse in Auburn, NY, which was great fun and well performed. The theater is located within the Emerson Park on the shore of Owasco Lake, which looks like a nice spot to play, picnic, swim, and more. We also saw Wall-E and the new Get Smart movie at the Finger Lakes Drive-In Theater, also in Auburn (another night - we aren't that hardy). I really like this theater as it is small enough that there is not a bad seat in the house and they still have hang-on-your-window speakers for audio which I think is just fun (they have radio broadcast too, don't worry).
