We had a very busy month with some changes at my work and Jess finishing her semester and starting at her summer work. We had fun, too, starting with a trip to visit my folks in Connecticut and some sightseeing at Mystic Seaport (I have Mystic pictures up) followed by them coming out here to see Geneva and have a delicious lunch at Stonecutters at Belhurst.
On the even lighter side of life, we saw the new Sex and the City movie, which was really funny, and is certainly better for those who know the series, like us. We also started getting the newspaper (!) and doing the crossword puzzles in the paper. The best clue so far (and the one that we are the most proud of) is one that asked for Dieter's watchword
. In all my genius (and after getting all the cross words), I thought that the German (Dieter's) word for watch seemed odd, but plausible. Only after a second look did we realize that lowfat was low fat
and what a person on a diet would watch out for. Some days I just feel like the Scarecrow (if I only had a brain...) :-)
