It has been a busy month out here. Work has been extra heavy with one coworker out on maternity leave, but we have been making do and I have been figuring out more things than before, so it is enlightening too. Jess's classes have been going along quite well, if very busy with reading and responses. She is also working on several group projects for later in the semester.
On the home front, we took advantage of some opportunities to upgrade our dining table and chairs to a set (from Lynch's, a new favorite furniture store by the antique co-op downtown) and the old computer-only desk to one that allows computer and paper/book work space (Note: Staples matches their often-lower online prices in the stores). With all that, the kitchen/dining/office area is looking much better and pretty well unified. Next up, we plan to make or get some simple art to fill the space opened up by the desk switch.
