The holiday season is here and we are getting into full swing. With shopping pretty much done, we cut our tree last weekend at a farm nearby. We brought it home, set it up, and decorated the tree and living room, then settled in for a movie. Unfortunately, a while later, we noticed the tree start to move of its own accord...quickly...toward the floor. We then got to spend almost an hour trying to get it really stabilized in the stand on its too thin-to-bolt-in-easily trunk (we realized too late just how curved the trunk was and how unevenly weighted the branches were...after all, it looked really nice before). We had a few casualties of the crash, including the ornament we bought at Disney World on our honeymoon :-(
Since then, however, things have been going well. We are both busy and have a lot of exciting things in the mix. More to come later.
